PegasusTSI provided Engineering, Procurement and overall Project Management services to Mosaic Fertilizer, LLC for the replacement of their existing sulfuric acid converter at their No. 8 Contact Acid Plant (CAP) in Riverview, Florida.  Beginning with the development of a ±10% estimate, the goal of the project was to replace their current converter with a new larger diameter converter.  The estimate phase of the project was followed by Detailed Design of the installation of the new converter as well as the removal of the existing external mass converter and the relocation of the hot pass heat exchanger.  Additionally, the cold pass heat exchanger and the No. 3 superheater were also replaced.
